Hey everyone! I’m having some trouble with my GPU. It’s showing a red light and won’t display any image, no matter how many times I restart my PC. I’ve read that this could be caused by insufficient power to the GPU or possibly that I need to reseat it. I’m not convinced it’s my PSU, but I’m not entirely sure. I suspect the PCIe slot might be a bit loose, but it seems to be fitted correctly. I’m looking for advice on how to resolve this issue while spending as little money as possible. Any thoughts?

It sounds like your GPU might not be getting enough power. Make sure all the power cables from your PSU are properly connected to the GPU and avoid using power splitters as they can lead to issues. If it still doesn’t post, consider testing with a cheaper GPU that doesn’t require external power, like a GT 1030 or 710. This will help you figure out if it’s a motherboard issue or something with your GPU itself.
