Hey everyone! I’m thinking about giving Final Fantasy 12 another shot after dropping it years ago. I only played about 8 hours and didn’t finish it due to not being fond of the characters and finding the Gambit system a bit tricky—might have been a lack of time to learn it properly. However, I really enjoyed the overall vibe of the game, so I’m eager to dive back in, especially since I now have Zodiac Age. I’m aiming for the platinum trophy this time around! Any tips to enhance my experience or to really enjoy the game would be super helpful!

The Gambit system takes a little time to get to grips with, but once you get it, battles flow beautifully. Also, don’t forget that you can set up multiple Gambit sets—something I wish I’d known earlier!
I revisited it last year and found Vaan a bit annoying, so I switched to the Japanese voiceover, and it made them much more enjoyable for me. The combat system is pretty fun! I even modded it for the original license system for more flexibility, but that might be controversial. Hope your experience is enjoyable too!
Definitely save your game often! You never know when a tough enemy might appear out of nowhere. If your team gets knocked out, just switch them out and save quickly. It’ll save you from a lot of frustration. I’m doing a run for the same reason, good luck to you!
