Looking for Tips to Get Bullion and Treasure Notes in Fallout 76

-

Hey everyone! I’m having a tough time collecting treasure notes so I can purchase the chicken coop plan from Sam. I need a total of 750 bullion for it. While I’ve been knocking out my daily quests, it’s just not enough to hit that target fast. I really don’t want to spend any money in the Atom Shop for the coop since I’d prefer to earn some XP in-game while gathering bullion. Is there anywhere I can buy bullion from, or could anyone share particular missions that might net me a good amount of treasure notes?
Also, I’ve been doing the expeditions over and over, but I still haven’t seen those treasury notes drop. I read online they were supposed to be a good source, but they aren’t working out for me! Just to let you know, I’m a level 72 ghoul. Thanks in advance!

Just checking in to see if you’re doing public events! Since you’ve converted to a ghoul, I assume you’re not skipping these. They’re really good for getting those treasure notes!

If you’re struggling with treasure notes, don’t forget to check the Events section. There’s a helpful wiki page that lists all the ways you can earn them. Definitely worth a look!

You’re already doing expeditions, but make sure you’re participating in events too. Those are usually the best way to get your hands on those notes! And you can also use Minerva when she’s available to maximize your haul.

I haven’t seen Minerva yet. I have no clue where to find her!

You can find a bullion vendor at the Wayward, located on the second floor of the bar. It costs 300 bullion for 6000 caps, but just a heads up, it refreshes weekly! Make sure to check there as soon as you can!

QuestingNinja_47! -

Thanks! I didn’t realize it refreshes weekly. I’ll keep an eye on it!

VaultSurvivor76 -

Once you finish the main quest at Vault 79, a vendor named Smiley will appear at the Wayward on the second floor. He trades caps for bullion, so make sure you start that quest when you can!

I’ve bumped into Smiley before but I wasn’t able to start a quest with him. How do I begin the Vault 79 quest?

To start the quest for Vault 79, you usually need to follow the main storyline and complete the necessary tasks leading up to it.
