Hey everyone! I’m trying to design a massive world tree with sprawling branches for a beehive-style house, but I’m hitting a wall finding any useful tutorials. Most of what I see are map downloads that aren’t quite what I’m after. Does anyone have some advice or resources that could help me bring this idea to life?

I once built a giant tree with a hanging Ewok village on a server! I started by creating a sturdy wooden tube as a core, which served as my temporary base. After that, I focused on making the tree aesthetically pleasing around it using scaffolding for height. It looked amazing when I finished, so definitely give it a shot!
Why not check out one of those map downloads? You might get a lot of inspiration from how they constructed it, and you can recreate it in your own style. Sometimes, a visual reference can be super helpful, even if it isn’t a full tutorial.
Here are a few tips: First, ensure your tree is safe to explore, so you won’t be falling to your doom constantly. I recommend building the trunk out of dirt and then wrapping it in your preferred wood type. Also, keep in mind that leaf blocks can create shadows, which might lead to unexpected monster spawns. Try a mix of 50% leaves and 50% green glass at the top to let some light in!
I’ve got a couple of tips from my own experience: first, decide on the height of your tree before you start building. Then think about how you’ll navigate up and down—maybe ladders or spiral stairs? Finally, consider the trunk structure. Do you want it solid, hollow, or with rooms?
