I’m on the hunt for some fantastic open world games for PC, but I’ve already beaten Elden Ring three times, so that’s out. I’ve been trying Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag, and it’s pretty enjoyable, but I’m craving more open world goodness. I’m particularly interested in games with a solid mix of decent combat, fun exploration, and interesting environments. I’m not a fan of excessive icons cluttered on a map, but I know they tend to come with these types of games. Any recommendations, especially for games with good combat? I heard the Horizon series is great, especially since Forbidden West is now available on PC. Thanks!

You can’t go wrong with Horizon Zero Dawn. Even if some find its combat system a bit unintuitive, the world and story are captivating!
I’ve run through Elden Ring a few times too, and while Horizon looks good, I felt its combat was kinda on rails.
If you haven’t looked into it yet, Avowed is set to release soon, and it seems like it could be right up your alley!
Generation Zero was pretty fun for a while! It has an interesting setting, and the exploration aspect is cool.
Don’t forget about Saints Row 3 and 4! They bring a different flavor to open world gaming with a lot of humor and chaos.
Ghost of Tsushima is a must-try! It’s got beautiful landscapes and the combat feels so fluid. The Horizon games are fantastic too, I think you’d really enjoy them!
Totally agree! I think I’m gonna dive into Ghost of Tsushima next. Thanks for the tip!
Ghost of Tsushima is top tier! The combat feels natural after playing Elden Ring.
I had a blast with Witcher 3 and its DLCs, I totally recommend checking those out!
