I’m a hardcore gamer who relishes replaying games, especially those with early game modes. Once a game reaches the “end game” stage, I often lose interest. I usually gravitate towards survival, crafting, and loot-based games, as well as roguelites on occasion. My top game is Ark, where I’ve racked up nearly 4000 hours, often playing on modded servers. I love Terraria too, but I typically stop playing once I hit hardmode just because I’m not super into boss fights. The building, digging, and looting aspects really keep me engaged, but I’m always on the lookout for hidden gems in this genre. I’ve also enjoyed Diablo 2 for its incredible loot, but most ARPGs haven’t captured my interest. My other favorites include Slay the Spire and Kingdom Come, where I indulge in the chaos of looting without much concern for gameplay storylines. If anyone has suggestions for games that have a similar vibe, I’d love to hear them!

Have you checked out Valheim? It has a fantastic building system just like what you love! I find myself getting lost in that game too, especially with the crafting elements.
You might like Satisfactory or Factorio! They both offer a strategic mix of building and resource management. Timberborn also looks promising for survival and building mechanics if you haven’t tried it yet.
Satisfactory is on my library radar, but I haven’t played it yet because Factorio felt a bit too hardcore for me to relax with. I’m slowly getting into Minecraft and I’ll definitely check out Timberborn. Thanks for the suggestions!
I own Valheim but haven’t jumped into it yet. Maybe I was waiting for updates and forgot about it. I’ll have to give it a shot soon!
