Hi everyone! I’m on the hunt for PC games that feature mission-based campaigns similar to Call of Duty, Uncharted 4, or Rise of the Tomb Raider. I’m specifically looking for games that have a straightforward format where you can move from point A to point B without the need to replay or spend time collecting or building items like in Fallout 4. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

If you want great stories but still want linear gameplay, give both parts of The Last of Us a try; they’re epic! Ace Combat 7 is another great pick if you like flying sims. Also, the Dead Space remake has a strong linear focus, plus it’s a fantastic survival horror experience. Mafia: Definitive Edition is a must for its solid storyline and linear campaign!
For a good shooter experience, Gears of War 5 is pretty awesome! Also, The Division could work for you; you can just focus on the main missions and skip all the extra stuff if you want. Just know that there are optional things available, but that’s up to you! Don’t forget the Yakuza series; while it has some side stuff, it’s very engaging!
Check out Titanfall 2 and Wolfenstein for some intense, story-driven experiences. You might also enjoy Batman: Arkham Asylum or Metro: Redux. If you’re in for some adventure, Guardians of the Galaxy and Shadow of the Colossus are solid picks too! Plus, the Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is fun if you’re into platforming action. Oh, and don’t overlook Sniper Elite if you like a little tactical play!
