I’ve played through Elden Ring, Dark Souls 3, and Sekiro, but they took me ages to beat. With school taking up most of my time now, can anyone recommend some Soulslike games that aren’t as punishing or time-consuming? I’m looking for something that doesn’t require memorizing every attack pattern and is easier to handle.

Lies of P isn’t super tough, especially compared to other games in the genre. It’s got a great story and is relatively manageable if you’re looking for something less punishing.
Try out Remnant 2 or Thymesia. Remnant 2 is easier and lets you pick your difficulty, while Thymesia is basically a lighter version of Dark Souls. Both should be more forgiving than the big Soulslike titles you’ve played.
If you’re open to exploring other genres, Metroidvania games might be a good fit. Hollow Knight and Salt and Sanctuary have a Soulslike vibe without all the difficulty. Just a heads up, though, they can still be challenging in their own right!
You could try Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order or its sequel, Jedi: Survivor. These games have Soulslike elements but let you adjust the difficulty, which might be perfect if you’re short on time.
If you’ve got a PS5, consider the Demon’s Souls remake or Stellar Blade. Both are relatively easier with some grinding, and older Souls games like Dark Souls 1 or 2 might seem a bit easier as well due to their different pace and design.
Kena: Bridge of Spirits could be an interesting choice. It has a beautiful Pixar-like style, but don’t let that fool you—it’s got its own set of challenges. Plus, Another Crab’s Treasure has an accessibility setting that lets you customize the difficulty to something more enjoyable and forgiving.
If you’re looking for something a bit different but still with a Soulslike feel, try out Monster Hunter. It shares some DNA with Souls games, but is a bit easier starting out and offers quick missions. Do keep in mind it can get grindy later on.
Ghost of Tsushima might be worth a shot, especially if you liked Sekiro. It’s a bit more relaxed and gives you flexibility with how much time you want to invest. It breaks up longer side quests nicely, so you can fit them into shorter play sessions.
I agree, and I would also suggest checking out Blasphemous. It has a similar feel to Souls games, and the atmosphere is really immersive.
