Hey everyone! I’m on the hunt for singleplayer games that feature dailies or have game mechanics that are tied to real-world time like day or night cycles, seasonal changes, and so on. I find it really immersive and cozy when games connect with real life this way, kind of like what I experienced in Pokémon Gold and Silver as a kid. I’ve also got a soft spot for dailies in MMOs — you know, time-gated content that you can only do a few times a day or week to keep you logging in. My daily farming routine in RuneScape is something I look forward to. So, what are some singleplayer titles that offer dailies or shift their gameplay based on real-time? Not just fast-paced in-game days like in Stardew Valley, but actual real-world clocks. Thanks!

Dying Light 2 has some dailies and weekly tasks as well, but they don’t offer much in terms of gameplay rewards, so you can skip them if you want. Still, scrolling through the bounties can be fun! Plus, you could play it entirely solo and enjoy the experience just fine.
If RPGs are your thing, Horizon has features that align with your request, like time-sensitive quests. Assassins Creed titles also usually have daily challenges. For a different angle, have you tried Monster Hunter? Some of their games offer limited bounties that tie into time events, even if multiplayer is available, solo play is completely viable.
Genshin Impact is another great option! It has a mix of dailies and weeklies, alongside a ton of cozy activities like farming and fishing that progress with real time. Even though it has a multiplayer aspect, it can easily be enjoyed solo, so it’s definitely worth looking into!
You should definitely check out Animal Crossing! It’s all about dailies with a lot of quests tied to real-world time. Plus, the vibe is super cozy! If you’re into that style, Disney Dreamlight Valley offers similar gameplay too, with cute activities based on real time.
Yeah, Disney Dreamlight Valley does have a similar feel! It’s nice to have those cozy moments while playing.
True, Genshin Impact fits perfectly! It keeps you engaged without requiring you to play with others.
