I’m on the hunt for games similar to RDR2 Online but focused purely on single player experiences. I’d love to find games where I can choose a profession, like Bounty Hunter or Trader, and earn money through that role. KCD2 (Kingdom Come: Deliverance) pops up as a potential choice, but I’m open to other suggestions! Any ideas?

Also, don’t forget about Mount and Blade: Bannerlord. It’s got a lot of depth in terms of role-playing and profession choices, and it’s all single player!
Skyrim and the Elder Scrolls series are fantastic options, especially if you dive into mods that enhance trading mechanics or add features like notice boards and blacksmithing. Those mods can really change the game and bring in that immersive profession aspect you’re looking for!
Elite Dangerous could be right up your alley. It offers a ton of different jobs and while it has both single player and multiplayer, you can really dive deep into the single player experience if you’re focused on professions.
RDR2 Online does have a private lobby feature, so if you haven’t tried that, it might be worth it. It allows you to avoid the chaos of random players and really focus on the activities in a more controlled environment.
KCD2 is legit! It has that same slow-paced, realistic vibe like RDR2. Plus, you can specialize in different professions throughout the game, which is pretty cool.
Do you have any specific names for those mods?
