I’m on the hunt for RPG games that offer high levels of customization. I want something like The Sims but with a deeper storyline and more action involved. It’s important for me to have the ability to own things and build relationships with other characters in the game. Any recommendations?

If you’re looking for more of a life simulator vibe, Stardew Valley is popular. However, if you’re after a good story with action, maybe check out the Yakuza series? The newer ones are turn-based, but older titles are all about the action!
You might want to check out Kingdom Come: Deliverance; it’s got tons of customization options, especially for armor and clothing. The gameplay is very immersive, like a historical medieval simulator. If you get into it, the sequel is even better! Also, if you’re into something different, Project Zomboid is incredibly realistic – it’s essentially The Sims but with zombies.
Have you tried Fallout 4? It offers settlement building and lets you forge relationships with your companions. If you’re into more customization, Fallout 76’s CAMP system goes even further, though the relationship aspect is a bit limited. Just a thought!
Baldur’s Gate 3 could be a solid match for you! It includes a lot of conversational choices and relationship dynamics with other characters that really add depth to the experience.
Definitely! I love Baldur’s Gate too, but I’m looking for something a bit modern, you know?
