Looking for Paid Mobile Card Games That Aren't Roguelites

-

I’m really into combat card games, but I can’t stand roguelites that use meta-progression to force you to replay after completing the game. I had an experience with Slay the Spire where I beat it with the Silent character on my first try, but I felt frustrated because the game locks many cards behind progression, and I’m not interested in replaying it. I’m looking for a linear card game with a clear ending, preferably paid to avoid ads or microtransactions. If there’s a free game that allows you to pay to turn off ads, that works too! Any suggestions?

You might want to check out Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales. It’s a story-driven RPG based around Gwent but without the roguelite elements. It’s a solid choice if you’re looking for something linear with a good narrative.

Have you tried Baten Kaitos? It’s an older game where you combine cards for attacks. The storytelling is pretty engaging if you enjoy RPGs with card mechanics.

Sounds interesting! I wonder if it’s available on mobile or if I’d have to emulate it.
