I’m a huge fan of deck-building games, especially when it comes to discovering unique synergies and strategies. However, I’m feeling really burnt out on roguelikes right now. Are there any single-player deckbuilders out there that follow a more linear format? I’d love to find something that I can play through and finish in a reasonable time frame.

Marvel’s Midnight Suns is also worth mentioning; it has solid deck-building elements and a compelling storyline.
If you’re into cozy games, try Potionomics. It’s a fun game where you haggle selling potions using a deck-building mechanic, and you collect new cards by befriending townsfolk.
You should definitely check out Griftlands. It has multiple difficulty settings and allows you to save your progress. There’s even a demo to try it out! Also, consider Black Book; it’s another great choice.
You might want to look into Steamworld Quest: Hand of Gilgamech. It’s a turn-based RPG where your combat revolves around the cards in your deck.
Have you heard of Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales? It’s a solo campaign based on Gwent from The Witcher 3, and the story is fantastic, plus the soundtrack is amazing!
Seconding this! If you love Gwent, you’ll definitely enjoy playing through Thronebreaker.
Totally agree! The storytelling in that game is top-notch.
