Hey everyone! I’m really into tactical turn-based games and have played quite a few of them, like XCOM 1 and 2, Xenonauts, Jagged Alliance, Wartales, Battle Brothers, Battletech, Phantom Doctrine, and Phantom Brigade. I’m especially keen on games similar to XCOM, where I can equip a sci-fi squad and level them up at my base. While I’m waiting for the release of Menace, I’m in need of new recommendations. Any suggestions?

Don’t forget about Phoenix Point! It might be right up your alley, especially if you liked XCOM.
Have you looked into Gears Tactics or Warhammer 40k: Chaos Gate? Those might fit your taste! They offer that tactical gameplay you’re after.
You might want to check out Metal Slug Tactics! It’s not sci-fi, but it’s got that tactical turn-based vibe. Also, if you enjoyed Advance Wars back in the day, you could possibly enjoy Warside on Steam as well—though it isn’t on consoles yet.
