Hey everyone! I’m feeling a bit lost right now and looking for a game that can hook me like Cyberpunk and God of War did. I’ve spent over 300 hours on those titles and really enjoyed them, especially Cyberpunk. I’ve tried a few games on PS Extra like The Last of Us, AC Valhalla, Ratchet and Clank, and Ghost of Tsushima, but none have really grabbed my attention for long. Ghost of Tsushima started off great but got repetitive after the first act. I’m debating whether to replay GoW or Cyberpunk again or to buy Elden Ring while it’s on sale. Any other awesome recommendations?

If you’re craving an RPG fix, you absolutely need to try Baldur’s Gate 3. It’s super engaging, and your choices really matter in the story. Also, for some classic JRPG vibes, dive into Final Fantasy XVI or the VII Remake if you haven’t yet!
Buy Elden Ring, trust me! I came back to gaming for it after a break, and it completely sucked me in. It’s got that open-world goodness with tons of exploration. You won’t regret it!
I dunno, it reminds me of AC Valhalla which I got bored of really quickly.
You should definitely check out Helldivers 2! It’s super addictive with friendly lobbies and great gameplay. Plus, there’s always something new going on with regular content updates, so you’ll never get bored. Even if you’re joining a little late, the community is pretty chill, so don’t worry about being under-leveled!
But will I miss much if I start now? I mainly play solo and don’t have voice chat options.
Don’t stress it! It’s a PVE game, so you’ll fit right in just doing your thing.
If you love the GoW series, definitely check out Black Myth: Wukong! The combat is super fun and feels nostalgic while bringing a fresh experience. Plus, it’s in the same zone as action RPGs.
You might also enjoy Death Stranding! It has a unique gameplay experience and a captivating story that might keep you hooked for a while. Plus, it’s visually stunning.
That’s one I haven’t tried yet! How does it compare to more action-oriented games?
I’m not a big fan of turn-based combat though.
