Hey everyone! I’m curious if there’s a way to get more than 1TB of Seagate storage for my Xbox, especially for next-gen games. I’ve heard about the 1TB and 2TB Seagate storage expansion cards, but I find it annoying to keep switching them out. Is there any kind of device or converter that would allow me to plug in multiple Seagate cards into my Xbox at once? If not, that seems like a missed opportunity for a cool product!

There’s actually a 4TB version of the Seagate expansion card, but it’s only available in certain areas right now. I’m not aware of any device that would let you connect multiple cards simultaneously, unfortunately. You might want to check places like AliExpress for any options, but I can’t guarantee it’s there!
There are rumors of a 4TB expansion card coming from Seagate, but they haven’t officially released it. If it does drop, it’ll probably be quite expensive, around $450 before taxes!
While there are larger storage options, nothing exists yet that allows you to use multiple cards at once. A workaround could be to pick up a cheap 2.5″ SSD along with an enclosure for your games that don’t require super-fast loading times. Just remember, you can store games needing faster storage on an external drive, but you’ll have to move them back to play them!
Do you really need 3TB of games downloaded at once? You can always delete and re-download games, it’s not the worst thing in the world. I handle mine without a bigger card since launch—it only takes about an hour to re-download a game.
I do have a lot of games to juggle since my partner and I have different tastes, plus some bulky titles like Cyberpunk take up significant space!
I’ve heard the 4TB version was briefly listed for pre-order on Best Buy but got pulled down really quickly, so it might not be out yet.
