Hey everyone! I’m on the hunt for some mobile games that feel like console or PC experiences—not just in terms of graphics but in gameplay quality. I’m not a fan of games that hit you with paywalls, where you need to spend money just to progress, like buying gems to unlock the next level. I don’t mind microtransactions if they’re optional, but I really want to avoid games that force you to pay to advance. I’m open to paying upfront for a game; I just want to dodge those microtransactions that block progress.
I’m really into action RPGs (not turn-based!) and I also love sports games like basketball, football, and hockey. If you have any suggestions, I’d love to hear them because all the lists I find seem loaded with games that have tons of microtransactions!

You should definitely check out GTA San Andreas; it’s a solid pick and doesn’t have those annoying paywalls. It’s more like a full game experience on mobile!
While I usually find turn-based games work better on mobile, there are some great roguelikes like Shattered Pixel Dungeon and Caves. They offer good gameplay without feeling forced to spend money—give them a shot!
Thanks for the recommendations!
Square Enix has brought over most of the Dragon Quest and Final Fantasy games, plus Chrono Trigger. You’ll struggle to find many non-turn-based RPGs on mobile due to hardware limitations, but these ports are top-notch!
Thank you! I’m definitely interested in those.
