I’m considering trying out Dragon Quest 11, but I’m really after JRPGs that have traditional class systems similar to those in D&D, like Fighters, Clerics, and Rogues. I love the D&D-inspired anime Delicious In Dungeon with its classic fantasy races and monsters. I’m also a fan of For The King 2, so I’m eager to discover new team-based, turn-based games with that JRPG or anime vibe. Any suggestions?

Final Fantasy has a huge D&D influence. The original classes map pretty well: Fighter = Fighter, Black Mage = Wizard, White Mage = Cleric, etc. Plus, I’d highly recommend Final Fantasy Tactics if you want something with that D&D combat feel.
Almost every JRPG is influenced by D&D in some way because of their roots in games like Wizardry. If you’re looking for a solid choice, check out the Dragon’s Dogma series—it’s loaded with classic D&D monsters and has traditional classes, although it’s more of an action RPG than turn-based.
Totally, the first Final Fantasy’s bestiary was like a D&D Monster Manual, just with different names in the remakes!
