I’m currently working on a build for a player who faces some challenges with hand movement and reflexes due to neuropathy and other related issues. I want to create a setup that minimizes the need for button pressing while still being effective. I’ve been inspired by the Oakensoul Heavy Attack (HA) build, which usually simplifies buff management and is designed for accessibility.
Here’s what I’m considering so far:
– **Class**: Sorcerer, because I’d like to have two skill lines from it, plus the minions help with leveling.
– **Skills**:
– **Crit Surge**: It’s the only skill I want to actively use for sustain every 30 seconds.
– **Flare**: This one’s just sitting on my bar for some extra protection.
– **Bound Aegis**: I like this for more magicka and minor resolve.
– **Inner Light**: Increases my magicka for more DPS.
– **Siphon Life**: This will give passive life leech and more sustain without needing to press anything.
– **Ultimate**: Dawn Breaker, but it’s mostly for the buffs, not really used in gameplay.
I’m also considering using the Sergeant set for DPS and Hexos for sustain. Plus, I’m torn between using a crit chance or penetration helm, and the Mundus stone choice as well. Any tips or ideas on how I could further simplify this build or swap any skills for better options? I’d love to hear your experiences and suggestions!

Going for a healer role could also relieve some stress on your hands since it encourages a more relaxed playstyle. However, be aware that some veteran groups might expect some damage output alongside healing. That said, you can still maintain your build while being adaptable, focusing on keeping yourself and the party sustained with minimal effort.
If you’re looking to maximize damage, I’d suggest going with The Thief Mundus for criticals and pair it with a monster helm that gives you penetration. Most of my friends have great success with their Heavy Attack Oakensoul Sorcerer builds, and they focus on passive skills that help maintain that lack of button-pressing.
They use pets like Summon Twilight Matriarch for healing and some offense, while sticking with Summon Volatile Familiar for extra damage. They’re able to do just fine in veteran dungeons without constantly hitting buttons!
I recommend checking out my Heavy Attack Warden build. It’s similar to what you’ve described but uses the Oakensoul set and focuses on easy gameplay. Here’s what I’ve got:
– Equip the Oakensoul, 5 pieces of the Sergeant set, and another damage-boosting set like Deadly or Pillar of Nirn.
– Your skills should include a mix of buffing and damage, with things like Shalks and Polar Winds for emergency healing. Just tape down your left mouse button for a consistent attack! You’ll be able to solo dungeon content without much effort.
Trust me, it’s a breeze to play, and you won’t need heavy button mashing!
Totally get you! I had a healer that was pressing too few buttons in a group, and it kind of hurt our run during a hard mode dungeon. Just keep in mind what the group needs while you’re building efficiently!
