I’m currently using an RTX 1660 SUPER and I have around £500 to spend on a new GPU. I’m a bit overwhelmed by the options out there after watching various videos and comparing benchmarks, as there seem to be conflicting opinions everywhere. I’m considering upgrading to either the RX 7600 XT 16GB or the RTX 4060-Ti. To give you a better idea of my setup, I have an i7-8700k CPU and 32GB of DDR4 RAM. What do you think I should go for?

With your i7-8700k, it’s a good idea to think about a full system upgrade eventually. But for now, consider your GPU options carefully. If you’re willing to wait a couple of months, new models like the RX 9060 XT and RTX 5060 Ti are expected to drop soon, and could offer better performance.
If you can stretch your budget a bit, the RX 9070 is a solid choice right now, priced around £600. But if you’re sticking to £500, you might be able to snag the RX 7800 XT or a 7900 GRE, which could give you decent performance.
Thanks for the tips! I’ll keep an eye on those options.
I posted some gameplay footage using the RX 7600 with my i7-8700. If you want, I can benchmark specific games you play like Tarkov or DayZ to give you a better idea of its performance. Just let me know!
Yeah, I’d love to see how it runs on those games!
That sounds worth it! I’m definitely curious to see what they’ll bring to the table.
