Looking for Games with Destructible Bases and Realistic Damage

-

I’m on the hunt for a game that lets you build bases but also features artillery or cannons that can realistically damage those structures. I’m interested in gameplay where your base gets hit and takes damage over time—not just some flashy visual effects. Any suggestions?

If you’re into strategy games, “Age of Empires 3” has cool effects for when buildings get destroyed. The big cannons actually blow debris off as they hit!

“7 Days to Die” has bases that can really fall apart over time, but it might not look super realistic. Still, it’s all about managing a base under attack!

You might want to check out “Space Engineers.” It’s all about building spaceships brick by brick, and when you get into combat, the damage can create actual holes in your ship which is pretty wild!

Yeah, and if you like that concept, the same developers made “Medieval Engineers.” It’s more in line with base-building and real destruction. Just a heads-up, though, they’ve basically abandoned it!

“Forts” is another option! It’s a 2D side view game where you construct a base and take on opponents, but it might not have the full destruction you’re after.

For something a bit different, have you tried “Scorched Earth” on Roblox? It’s super fun with artillery and base destruction. Plus, there are classic Battlefield games that might scratch that itch too!

Haha, I remember playing Scorched Earth on my old 286 too! Such a blast!
