I’m on the hunt for a strategy game that features time manipulation or planning strategies, similar to ‘Peaky Blinders: Mastermind’. I recently replayed it, and I love how you control multiple characters with unique skills (like distracting guards and pickpocketing) in a single-player isometric setup. The gameplay becomes really engaging as you sync actions of up to six characters to progress through levels; for example, distracting a guard with one character, rewinding to sneak past with another, and coordinating various tasks to overcome obstacles. Any recommendations for games that capture this kind of experience?

You might want to check out ‘Iron Danger’. It’s got that mix of time manipulation and tactical gameplay, plus it’s really fun!
If you’re into RTS, ‘Retro Commander’ is super fun with portals and sci-fi elements! Plus, the developers are working on ‘Chrono Commander’, which seems to align even more with your interests!
RTS isn’t really my strength; I prefer a slower, methodical approach. But I’ll keep an eye on Chrono Commander. Sounds interesting!
‘Into the Breach’ is a solid choice! It’s a turn-based strategy game where you can see enemy attack patterns. Planning your moves to counter while defending civilians is the key, and it definitely keeps you on your toes!
Saw this on Netflix games. Didn’t give it a proper look before, but I will now. Thanks for the heads up!
For a real-time strategy vibe, check out the ‘Shadow Tactics’ or ‘Desperados’ series. They let you plan out multiple character actions, and there’s also ‘Phantom Brigade’ which involves timelines and strategy while manipulating actions. Tactical Breach Wizards is another fun option with some unique time manipulation concepts!
I’ve had Shadow Tactics and Desperados 3 on my watch list. Which one do you think is better? Also considering Door Kickers on Android—any experience with that? I really like the timeline concept in Phantom Brigade.
Great suggestion! Just looked it up, and it seems like it fits right into what I’m looking for. Thanks!
