Hey everyone,
I’m trying to help my 70-year-old uncle find some PS4 games to play. He has some difficulties reading due to a past accident, and a lot of games seem overly complicated for him. He mentioned he enjoys shooting and hunting games but is open to trying other genres as long as they’re not too expensive. I’d love to hear your recommendations! Thanks in advance!
P.S. Thanks for all the suggestions so far, you guys are awesome!

The Uncharted trilogy is a great series! It blends action and storytelling without being too complex. Perfect for getting into gaming!
I’d suggest checking out the Cabela’s games! They’re straightforward and fun, just like how I enjoyed them back in the day.
You might wanna try Firewatch. It’s mostly a walking simulator with minimal reading involved, especially in the beginning. It’s really engaging without being overwhelming, especially for someone new to controllers!
Yeah, it’s a nice, relaxing game for sure!
How about ‘Stardew Valley’? It’s pretty chill and doesn’t require a lot of reading compared to some other games. Great for casual play!
Thanks for that suggestion! I’m looking into it for him.
If your uncle enjoys hunting, ‘The Hunter: Call of the Wild’ is on sale for just $9 right now! It’s pretty relaxing and has a nice open world to explore.
My dad loves that game; excellent recommendation!
You could also introduce him to ‘Red Dead Redemption 2.’ It features plenty of hunting, and the open-world exploration is beautiful. There’s a solid story if he wants to get into that, but he can also just enjoy the environment!
Absolutely seconding this! Fun experience without the heavy reading.
