My significant other is completely hooked on Terraria, and they can play it all night, but I got pretty bored of it early on. I’m hoping for some game suggestions that can engage both of us. We’re looking for something that includes elements of survival and mining to cater to my SO’s interests, but with a strong focus on building, farming, or fishing for my enjoyment. It would be a bonus if the game is multiplayer or MMO and allows for other players to join in. We’ve already played and enjoyed a few titles like Minecraft, Stardew Valley, The Forest, and Animal Crossing, so I’m looking for fresh ideas outside of those genres.

Necesse is another great pick! It has similar vibes to what you’re after and should be a good fit for both of your interests.
How about trying some modded Minecraft? It can add a ton of new gameplay elements and keep things interesting for both of you!
Enshrouded is worth considering too! It has great building mechanics and fits within the survival crafting genre.
Valheim could be a good option for you! It has survival aspects and a bit of building, though it might not check off all your boxes. Still, it’s a fun experience!
While it may not match everything you’re looking for, Noita is quite similar to Terraria in some ways. It’s an indie gem with fantastic gameplay, and there could be multiplayer mods if it doesn’t have co-op out of the box.
You might want to check out Core Keeper! It’s really fun and has a mix of building and gathering with a charming aesthetic.
If you enjoyed Stardew, then Sun Haven could be perfect! It’s like Stardew but has an improved skill system and more character variety like elves and demons.
