I’ve been diving into legacy challenges in The Sims, but I keep finding myself doing the same things over and over, which gets boring. I’m searching for a long legacy challenge that spans 10 or more generations and includes unique rules for each sim to keep me engaged. I play The Sims 2, 3, and 4, so I’m open to ideas from any of those games!

I have a 45-generation lepacy challenge going on! It’s a bit chaotic since I aim to work through every game pack. Each generation is themed around a specific pack, and I find it super enjoyable, even if it’s messy!
Same here! I start with the same sim, same house, and then get bored before finishing. I might need to change it up like you.
Check out the Alphabet Challenge! It’s a fun long-term commitment where you create 26 generations, naming each sim alphabetically. So you start with Anna for the first gen, then Brett for the second, and so on. If you want something more colorful, the True Berry Challenge is a blast! Each generation represents a color in everything from their appearance to their house. You could go on forever with this one since a rainbow doesn’t really end!
If you’re familiar with James Turner, you might like his Bigwallet legacy! He starts a new generation with each pack release and focuses purely on the content from that pack. It keeps the gameplay fresh without bogging you down with too many rules!
Oh, I’ve been wanting to binge-watch his series! It sounds like a great idea for mixing things up.
You might really enjoy the Llamas and Legends challenge! It’s a 10-generation challenge with multiple paths and goals for each generation. I’ve been on a break from mine, but it’s been a lot of fun so far! Check it out if you want something structured.
That’s exactly what I was trying to do too! I wanted to complete everything in the game with careers, aspirations, and skills, but I kept getting stuck in the same routines and losing interest. Maybe this approach will make it more exciting!
