Hey everyone! My friend is really into Sea of Thieves and wants to team up for some swashbuckling adventures, battling skeletons, and fighting off those pesky Reapers who steal loot. The game costs $40, which makes me hesitant to buy it since I’m only 25% sure about it. I don’t have time to sift through a ton of posts for advice, so can anyone share some quick starter tips? Thanks!

You should definitely check out some beginner guides on YouTube! Creators like Captain Falcore, Phuzzybond, and Blurbs have some fantastic guides that cover various play styles. I’d recommend starting with Captain Falcore since he’s really beginner-friendly.
Honestly, if you’re only 25% sure, maybe don’t commit right away. You could buy a month of Game Pass and try it out there for a much lower cost. It’s a great way to see if you like it without spending full price right off the bat!
Are you planning to play solo or with your friend? The game is definitely easier with two, but I solo a lot and really enjoy it. My main tip would be to focus on having fun and exploring rather than just grinding for money. The more you explore, the more you’ll find treasures and improve your skills!
Did you actually read the post? His friend wants him to get the game for some duo fun, not go solo!
