Looking for a USB-C Phone Holder with Headphone Jack

-

Hey everyone! I just got a new phone and noticed it doesn’t have an Aux port. It’s been a bit of a hassle while gaming, especially since I like to hold my phone a certain way. When I plug in a USB-C to Aux adapter, it sticks out at an awkward angle, making it uncomfortable to grip. My old phone had the headphone jack located in the corner, which was way better for my gaming style.

I’m on the hunt for a controller or phone holder that would connect via USB-C and includes a headphone jack. Ideally, I want something that positions the headphone jack on the longer side of the phone, so when I’m playing horizontally, the cord comes out from the bottom. The GameSir G8 is pretty close, but I’m open to any suggestions.

Also, while the GameSir is decent for some games, not every title supports controllers. For FPS games, I really prefer using touch controls instead of a gamepad. Does anyone have any recommendations for a product that fits my needs? Thanks in advance!

The GameSir G8 actually fits what you’re looking for! It has a USB-C connection and moves the headphone jack to a more comfortable position for gaming. It’s perfect for playing titles that require quick sound feedback. Just keep in mind it might not be the best for FPS games if you prefer touch controls, but for everything else, it should work great!

Thanks for the suggestion! I’ll check it out, but I do need something that’s more versatile for FPS games. Anything else you’d recommend?

Why not just go for Bluetooth headphones? They’re wireless and totally eliminate the issue of cords getting in the way! I know there can be some latency, but many newer models have low-latency modes that work fine for gaming.

I did try Bluetooth before, but the delay can be a deal-breaker for competitive games. I need that precise sound for gameplay!

If the GameSir G8 isn’t cutting it for FPS, you might want to look into ergonomically designed phone grips that still give you access to a headphone jack. There are other brands too that create similar products. Just search for USB-C holders that ensure the jack is positioned for easy access while horizontal.

Good idea! I’ll look into those options. I’d really appreciate any specific product names if you have them!
