I’ve played Fallout 4 and Fallout 76 a lot and really enjoyed the camp building and overall gameplay. Now I’m looking for a new game in a similar post-apocalyptic setting that offers the same kind of base or camp building experience. Any recommendations would be appreciated!

Far Cry 5 has a pretty cool map editor mode called Arcade that lets you create and customize your own maps and scenarios. It’s not exactly a post-apocalyptic setting, but if you like building stuff and creating gameplay experiences, it might be worth checking out.
If you enjoyed the base building in Fallout, you might want to check out State of Decay 2. It focuses a lot on building and managing your own base while surviving zombie hordes. Also, Chernobilite has some base-building elements too, though it’s a bit different from Fallout. Both games aren’t exact matches but offer that camp or base building vibe.
Thanks for the suggestions! I’ll definitely look into those to see if they scratch that same itch.
You might want to try the standalone mod S.T.A.L.K.E.R. GAMMA if you like the atmospheric survival aspect. It’s a bit tricky to get running sometimes but it has a solid post-apocalyptic vibe. If you can get it working, it might give you a fresh experience close to what you’re after.
I’ve tried installing S.T.A.L.K.E.R. GAMMA a few times but haven’t managed to get it running properly yet. Maybe I’ll give it another shot.
Oh cool, I actually played Far Cry 5 but didn’t know about the map editor. Sounds like a fun way to mix things up, thanks!
