Hey everyone! I’m Kie, and I recently bought Astaria Ascending from GameStop, but it didn’t quite meet my expectations. Now, I’m on the hunt for a new fantasy RPG that’ll really grab my attention. I’m hoping to get some recommendations that will tick all the right boxes for me. Here are the specifics I’m looking for: it should definitely be a fantasy RPG with awesome character customization options since I love creating my own character. A compelling story is a must, and I’d like it to feature class or job mechanics, allowing me to start simple and build my way up. I’d prefer a physical copy so I can just pop it in and play whenever. Events, whether in-game or online, would be a huge bonus. Lastly, I want to explore a fantastic map or overworld. Any suggestions for PS5 or Switch games? Thanks a lot!

Check out **Lost Odyssey** if you can find it. It’s an older title but has an incredible story and some great elements that fit your RPG needs.
You might want to check out **Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen** or **Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning**. Both offer solid RPG experiences with customization and engaging stories. And if you haven’t tried the classics yet, **Skyrim** and **Oblivion** are also worth a shot! They’re full of exploration and depth.
Have you heard of **Baldur’s Gate 3**? It’s my all-time favorite RPG with tons of replay value. It really hits most of your marks, including great writing and characters. Plus, the voice acting is top-notch. Highly recommend it!
**Elden Ring** is pretty close to what you’re after! It has a massive world full of exploration and customization. The only downside is that it might not cover every aspect you want completely, but it’s definitely a blast to play!
If you’re into something a bit more new, you could try **Bravely Default 2**. It has the feel of classic RPGs but with modern twists, and character customization should be fun!
