Looking for a class that fits my wild requirements!

-

Hey everyone! I’m fairly new to the game, just two weeks in, but I’ve tried out the Reaper and the Rifle Deadeye. I enjoy both, but I’m not a huge fan of the Necromancer vibe, and I find that the Rifle Deadeye doesn’t perform too well in all PvE scenarios.

Here’s what I’m aiming for in a class:

1. I want something that’s challenging to master.
2. It should be meta or capable of top-tier DPS in endgame content like raids.
3. I’m after a cool fantasy aesthetic.
4. The weapon choices should make sense together; I don’t like the mix-and-match concept too much. For instance, I think a Deadeye wielding a rifle and dual daggers is awesome, but Virtuoso with a dagger plus sword and spear feels off to me.

Coming from Lost Ark, I played the Lunar Reaper and Enhanced Weapon Deadeye, so I’m used to high APM, high movement, and high damage classes. Any recommendations? Thanks!

For something a bit different, I’d say look into the Catalyst. The Hammer is their main weapon, and it’s set to be really strong in the upcoming patch. Plus, you’ll eventually get to experience diverse builds with all classes!

Condition Mirage is also worth a shot! It utilizes its elite spec weapon alongside traditional condition-based offhand weapons, which could fit your criteria nicely.

FireflyWarrior -

You might really like the Weaver! It requires high APM, and if you’re good at managing that, it can be super rewarding. Also, Berserker is another option with high APM and difficulty. Both classes have unique playstyles that could suit you.

Have you tried Bladesworn? It has an engaging combat style that keeps things interesting! You might also consider Axe Mirage. The APM isn’t as high on average, but it’s crazy tricky to play, which might be right up your alley.

I’d suggest checking out the Revenant. It’s not extremely tough, but managing the Energy resource while keeping up with cooldowns adds a nice challenge. Both of its elite specs, Renegade and Vindicator, have impressive DPS, while the Herald excels at boon support. Plus, you get to embody a heavy-armored spirit knight invoking legendary powers, which is pretty cool! The animations are flashy too, with things like summoning spinning hammers or tearing apart reality.
