I’m trying to track down a specific anecdote about Chaos Space Marines that I heard on a podcast focused on Warhammer 40k lore. I think it was during their episode about the Night Lords, but I’m not completely sure. The story goes that there’s a group of Chaos Space Marines riding in a Thunderhawk (or something similar), and one of them is so far gone from Chaos corruption that he just keeps repeating a mantra, possibly something like ‘Blood for the Blood God.’ Another CSM in the group gets fed up and tells him to shut up, while a third CSM tries to explain that the first guy can’t even hear him anymore. To make his point, this third guy grabs the first guy’s helmet and slams his head against the wall, but the first CSM just keeps mumbling after that. I’m hoping to find out where this story originally comes from!

I think I found what you’re looking for! It sounds similar to a story from the Night Lords trilogy. You might want to check out this link for more details: [this](https://www.reddit.com/r/40kLore/comments/84iskh/book_excerptsoul_hunter_a_night_lords_squad_grows/).
Definitely sounds like something from the Night Lords!
It sounds a lot like Talos’s band from the Night Lords trilogy. That whole dynamic really captures the chaotic nature of their personalities.
That is precisely what that is. I’m reading ADB’s Night Lords trilogy and just got to that scene last night.
Yes, that sounds exactly like what I’m after. Thanks!
