I have reached the objective called “locate Spiders Ketch” but there is a blue dome around the objective and it won’t go away. How am I meant to go forward. I tried killing myself but it didn’t make the barrier for the objective drop.

You may have missed some trigger for this objective. A friendly NPC should have spawned to go through the portal with you. If this didn’t happen. Try backtrack a bit and see if the event triggers and if it does, you will be able to push forward to the marker.
