On the quest “the vengeance of the berserker”, I have killed the leader and the quest changed to “Leave with Bjorn”. He is just standing there next to the bear and isn’t moving. How do I get him to leave.

This happens often with NPCs in this game. The last resort is to reload the last checkpoint. It always fixes pathfinding issues with NPCs.
Try running around, see if there are nearby soldiers or something. If he engaged in combat it might snap him out of whatever has him stuck. Reload if all else fails.

So if you get back to the tree before him just meditate. He popped up afterwards. Maybe you got back faster than he did.
