Hey everyone! I just started playing Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 and I’m loving it just like the first game! However, I’m struggling to get the hang of the combat system and often find myself resorting to ranged options. I’m curious about whether switching to a controller could help me with combos and overall combat. Do you PC players prefer using a keyboard and mouse, or do you find a controller offers a better experience?

I’m all about the Dualsense controller! The haptic feedback helps me keep track of stamina during fights, but I do agree that for certain actions, a keyboard gives more control. I think trying both options is the best way to decide!
I use an Xbox controller with my laptop, and I haven’t had any issues. It’s way more comfortable for me to kick back while playing instead of hunching over a keyboard. The only downside is some combos can feel a bit tricky at first, but once you get the hang of it, it’s solid!
Honestly, I think it just comes down to personal preference. Some people are more comfortable using a controller for RPGs like KCD, while I found mouse and keyboard way easier for combat and crafting.
I tried using a controller and while it was fun for general play, I found lockpicking and precise aiming to be a pain. Keyboard and mouse just felt way more fluid for those mechanics. But hey, if it works for you, go for it!
I personally stick with keyboard and mouse. I find that I’m way more accurate aiming with a mouse, especially for those tricky combos. But I know others who swear by controllers, so it really depends on what you’re used to!
Same here! Once you get used to the controls, it can actually be pretty enjoyable. I even use a chat pad for texting during gameplay, but you do need a wireless receiver for it to work properly.
