Hey everyone! I recently got Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 and I’m totally hooked – it’s just as amazing as the first game! However, I’m having some trouble with combat, especially pulling off combos. I mostly rely on ranged weapons right now. I’m curious if using a controller would make things easier. I don’t have a controller yet, but I’m considering getting one. For those of you playing on PC, what’s your experience? Is combat easier with a controller, or do you prefer keyboard and mouse?

I use an Xbox controller on my laptop and love it! It’s super convenient, and once you get used to it, combat feels pretty good. I also use a chat pad which is awesome for quick typing.
For me, it’s all about lounging back with a controller. Way more comfortable than hunching over my laptop!
I’m all about the keyboard and mouse. They just feel more precise to me, especially in combat.
It really comes down to personal preference. Controllers are great for some, but I find that a mouse gives me way better accuracy.
I’ve switched from console to PC and use an Xbox controller. For RPGs, it suits me well, but lockpicking was tricky at first. Pulling off combos can be tough too sometimes; I usually just go for masterstrikes.
Were you using Bluetooth? That can cause stuttering with the game.
I agree! The controller does make it easier. The only downside is the chat pad only works wirelessly, but it’s worth it.
