Hey everyone! I just upgraded to a Lenovo Legion 5 laptop, and it’s a huge step up from my old Asus TUF that I’ve been using for the last five years. I have a few games that I’ve been holding off on until I had a better setup, including Baldur’s Gate 3, Space Marine 2, Red Dead Redemption 2 (and the first one), Cyberpunk 2077, and Expedition 33. I’m really into RPGs and strategy games, and I plan to start a Total War: Warhammer 3 campaign on ultra unit scale soon. I’m going into all of these games pretty blind since I haven’t played many big AAA titles in the last 6-7 years. Could you recommend which one I should start with? And are there any other must-play titles I should consider getting? I want to buy them one at a time to really focus on each game without distractions.

I just wrapped up Expedition 33, and I highly recommend starting with that one! It has a great balance, and after that, you can jump into something more intense like RDR2.
Definitely start with Baldur’s Gate 3! It’s such a fantastic RPG and offers tons of replayability. Plus, the story and characters are top-notch. If you’re looking for something for shorter play sessions, Slay the Spire is also a great choice! You can really get into that one without feeling like you’re committing too much time.
If you’re looking for something relaxing and visually stunning, try Shadows. It’s set in gorgeous Japan, although I should warn you that the story is a bit lacking. But hey, the graphics are nice to admire!
If you want a more recent experience, Cyberpunk 2077 is where it’s at. With your new hardware, you’ll be able to enjoy it at its best. I built my system recently too, and it really hits the spot for immersive gameplay.
I’m already an avid Slayer of Spires, don’t worry about that!
