Issues with the New Roblox Chat System?

Hey everyone! So, I just found out that the old Legacy Chat Service is getting phased out on Roblox, and I’ve switched to the new Text Chat Service. However, I’m running into some issues — the text tags aren’t functioning, and my donation messages from maps like ‘Please Donate’ aren’t showing up anymore. Has anyone else experienced this or found a way to fix it?

I noticed that Roblox messages aren’t filtered when you’re in studio mode, only during gameplay. So, if you’re testing in studio, that might be why you’re not seeing some scripts like the nametag or donation messages appear with the new chat system.

That could explain it! I did have issues with those scripts not working in studio. Going back to the old chat made them work fine. Guess I need to adjust what I’m testing.

I think a lot of devs are facing similar issues after the switch. Let’s hope Roblox rolls out an update soon to fix these bugs. Keep an eye out for any announcements!
