Hey everyone, I’m curious if I’m the only one experiencing issues with Zenless Zone Zero on my Steam Deck. It seems to not be functioning anymore, and I’m worried it might share the same fate as Honkai: Star Rail, which also stopped working. Just to clarify, I’m playing on the Steam Deck.

I had it crash at the login screen using Waydroid after the latest update. Ended up reinstalling the desktop version, which works fine, but I miss the Android version for its smaller size.
ZZZ actually doesn’t need an anticheat bypass like HSR does. I can launch it without any problems using the official Hoyoverse launcher, and I don’t see any difference whether you’re using a Steam Deck or not.
Are you using the Sleepy launcher? I’ve found it works perfectly with that on my Steam Deck, alongside a plugin for non-Steam launchers.
Yeah, I launched it just now through Steam and the official launcher, and it’s working smoothly for me. Just to mention, HSR is a whole different issue!
I just played it fine on my desktop. But I have seen some reports where it blacks out and closes automatically. Sounds like you’re dealing with a frustrating bug there!
Try using the Sleepy launcher—it’s done wonders for me on Arch Linux. Honkai works with the Honkers Railway launcher too, just an FYI!
For reference, Zenless works great on heroic launcher as well. Might give that a shot if other options are failing you.
