I’m wondering if Wuthering Waves runs well enough on Linux to make switching from Windows worth it. I have an NVIDIA GPU, so I realize I might miss out on some features like DLSS and Ray/Path Tracing. I’ve heard that Honkers Railway can be played on Linux, but I haven’t seen a similar launcher for Wuthering Waves. I’d prefer not to dual boot because of my one TB SSD, but I’m curious about how Wuthering Waves performs on Linux. Any insights would be appreciated!

I heard about a launcher called Wavey, which was mentioned for Wuthering Waves, but it’s said to need manual patches. If you’re not up for fiddling around with technical setups, sticking with Windows for now might be your best bet. Just keep an eye out for any updates from the community about improvements on the Linux front!
From what I know, there isn’t a reliable launcher for Wuthering Waves on Linux like what Honkers Railway offers. While some NVIDIA features like DLSS should technically work, the performance might not be on par with Windows due to driver issues. If you really want to try it, you might end up having to use some manual patches or tweaks, but it’s not an ideal situation right now.
Yeah, it’s a bit tricky with games that rely heavily on NVIDIA tech. While DLSS might work, there’s a good chance you’d run into anti-cheat problems. Many users have faced issues getting games to run smoothly on Linux with NVIDIA. If you’re considering it, maybe do some extensive research on recent experiences before making the leap.
