I’m currently playing World of Warships and I’ve made it to tier 9, but I’m really questioning if this game is suited for me or my region. I’m facing a lot of issues in random matches on the Asia server—specifically, it seems like no one on my team is willing to move forward, and we keep losing quickly. I’m also struggling to hit citadels; it feels like I can’t do it at all in randoms. Is this normal for new players, or is it just my experience?

Yeah, the Asia server does have its quirks. The matchmaking often feels unfair, skewed heavily to one side. That can definitely make for some frustrating matches, especially when you’re just starting out. Try not to take it personally; many players have similar experiences.
A tip is to not rush in blindly. It’s all about waiting for the right moments to push, but I get that it can be really frustrating when it seems like your team isn’t making any moves either.
I could literally wait all game, yet my team just sits back. It’s tough to play when no one else is engaging.
Being new, maybe tier 9 isn’t the best way to start out. It can be overwhelming for fresh players. Focus on learning the basics first?
Yeah, but if I back off, my team gets wiped. It’s like a lose-lose situation!
I get your frustrations! It can feel like you’re in a downward spiral, especially when the team dynamics are off. Just hang in there, practice makes perfect!
Thanks! I’m hoping to improve; I just need to figure out the best strategies.
Honestly, you might want to steer away from randoms for now. Check out some of the PvE modes! They’re way more fun and you can learn without feeling the pressure of a bad team.
I want to complete the dockyard missions, though, and that means I need to get 175k damage in random matches. It’s a catch-22!
Totally agree! The matchmaking can drive you nuts; I feel like I’m on the wrong side way too often.
