I’m thinking about upgrading from my 1080p monitor to a 1440p 240Hz setup, but I’m really worried about burn-in issues like everyone else seems to be. I mainly play Call of Duty and other competitive games, so I’m curious to know—are OLEDs really worth it? What are your thoughts?

Definitely go for it! I’ve got an LG 48GQ900-B OLED and I haven’t experienced any burn-in issues so far. I spend around 30 hours a week gaming and using it for browsing, and I make sure to turn it off when I’m not using it. Just be mindful of how you use it and you should be fine!
I’ve had my QD-OLED for about two years now, and I think it’s fantastic! It’s set to run tests to help prevent burn-in when I turn it off at night. I always set a black background, which feels like it helps with burn-in, but I’m not sure if it really does. I’d wholeheartedly recommend getting an OLED, but if you’re concerned about the price, consider micro-LED alternatives!
Honestly, I think the concern about burn-in is blown out of proportion. Just enjoy the OLED experience like you would with any other monitor—it’s worth it!
But what’s better, QD-OLED or WOLED? any thoughts?
