I’m currently using a laptop with a 3070 and I’m thinking about upgrading. However, the crazy prices for the new 50 series and the rising costs of the older 40 series cards have me hesitant. If I manage to snag a 5070 Ti for around £729, do you think that would be a smart move? I want to avoid overpaying for Nvidia’s offerings, but a 5070 Ti at that price seems somewhat reasonable to me.

Lol, are you thinking of fitting a 5070 Ti in your laptop? You might want to consider getting a desktop since a card like that won’t fit in there!
Just a heads up, there won’t be a Founder’s Edition for the 5070 Ti. You won’t be able to grab it directly from Nvidia’s site at that price.
Oh, so does that mean I can’t directly get it for £729 from Nvidia?
If you’re looking for a performance boost, the 4070 Ti is about 60% faster than the 3070. Expect an extra 25% on top of that with the 5070 Ti, plus double the VRAM. That’s quite an upgrade if you can swing it!
Haha, yeah, I definitely plan on getting a PC if I go for a card!
