I’m new to building PCs and, with some help, put together a parts list centered around an AMD Ryzen 5 7600 and Radeon RX 7600 XT. The total cost comes to about €1065, not counting a monitor. I don’t have a strict budget but want to keep things affordable without sacrificing performance. I’m also unsure whether I should get a 1080p or 1440p monitor to pair with this build. Additionally, do I need more fans for cooling, or is the Cooler Master NR200P case sufficient as is? Any advice on these or other improvements would really help me learn!

About the monitor choice: if you mostly game casually or on titles that aren’t super demanding, 1080p at a higher refresh rate is a great choice and saves money. But if you want sharper visuals and play games that can push the RX 7600 XT comfortably, 1440p is definitely worth considering. Just keep in mind 1440p will be a bit more demanding, so the GPU may push frame rates closer to mid to high settings rather than ultra in newer titles.
You asked about fans – the NR200P case usually comes with one or two good fans out of the box, so for a build like this you should be fine without adding extra fans immediately. If you notice temperatures running high under load once it’s built, you can add another fan later. Just make sure to keep airflow direction consistent: front/side fans pull cool air in, and top/rear fans push hot air out.
Overall, you’ve made some solid choices for a first build. The Ryzen 5 7600 and RX 7600 XT combo should handle most games well at 1080p and even decent at 1440p. Your RAM choice is good for capacity, but I’d suggest looking for DDR5 with a faster speed and lower latency to get a bit more performance, especially on Ryzen CPUs which benefit from faster memory. Your storage and power supply are also well matched. Regarding the case, the Cooler Master NR200P is excellent for a mini ITX setup and has good airflow. You probably don’t need extra fans unless you plan to push heavy overclocking or live in a very hot environment.

Thanks for the RAM tip! I was recommended CL32 but only found CL36. Is that a big difference?
