Hey everyone! I’m planning to build a new gaming PC and wanted some feedback on my current build. Here’s what I have in mind:
– GPU: Gigabyte Radeon RX 7700 XT Gaming OC – €445
– CPU: Ryzen 5 7600 – €200
– CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 Black 2023 – €30
– Storage: Lexar 2TB SSD – €100
– Motherboard: Gigabyte A620M Gaming X – €109
– Power Supply Unit (PSU): XPG Core Reactor II VE 750W 80+ Gold – €109
– RAM: Corsair Vengeance 2x16GB DDR5 – €90
– Case: Cooler Master MB511 RGB – €70
Is this a solid build, or am I missing something? Appreciate any suggestions!

I’d suggest upgrading your motherboard to a B650 or B850. Also, instead of the 7700 XT, look for a 7800 XT if you can find one around €500. Don’t skimp on airflow in the case either! Lancool models are pretty popular for that.
The Core Reactor PSU is alright, but some users say the fan can be noisy. If you’re sensitive to noise, you might want to check reviews. And make sure that your RAM is 6000 CL30 for better performance! Also, steer clear of QLC for your SSD.
Overall, it looks like a decent build, but I’d recommend switching to a Seasonic power supply. They tend to be more reliable than others out there.
What makes Seasonic better? I’m curious!
If you’re going for the Ryzen 7600, skip the Hyper 212 cooler; the box cooler will do just fine. Spend that extra cash on a better PSU like a Seasonic. And seriously, rethink that 7700 XT. FSR 4 support is the way to go!
Thanks for the advice! I’m actually thinking of switching to the 9060 XT 16GB now.

Mine is 6000 CL36. Is that still pretty good, or should I look for something else?
