Is There Any Way To Heal Without Food?

-

Enemies seem to hit quite hard in this game, I have been doing my best to get the hang of the combat and to bring as much bread and other food with me when I go out to do quests, but it doesn’t seem to be enough. It takes quite a bit of food to restore health to max and only few hits from enemies to take a lot away from it. Is there anything else in the Witcher 3 that can be used restore health other than food and standard consumables? In The Elder Scrolls games you can sleep to restore health, but It doesnt look like you can sleep in beds in this game.

Yes there actually is. If you pause and go to the menu item on the far right, you can meditate. This will completely restore all of your health in the easier difficulties. I haven’t played on hard but I believe it doesn’t restore health for you.

You only need to meditate for an hour to restore all of your health. Pretty handy really and will make the game incredibly easy.
