I noticed that Forza Horizon 4 isn’t available in the store anymore, which is a bummer! Is there any official way to get it for my Steam Deck? Also, if you’ve played both FH4 and FH5, how do they compare in terms of performance on the Deck? Does FH4 run significantly better?

I’ve played both games on the Deck, and honestly, they run pretty similarly. The main difference is the setting—FH4 has the stunning landscapes of Great Britain, while FH5 is set in a less exciting Mexican desert. If you’re itching for FH4, your best option is to stick with FH5 for now, as it’s still available and plays well.
Unfortunately, there’s no officially supported method to get Forza Horizon 4 at the moment. It looks like your best bet is to find a key reseller, but just be cautious about the legitimacy of those sites.
I got FH4 before it got delisted, and I can confirm it runs great on the Steam Deck! So if you happen to find a way to get it, you’ll likely enjoy it.
If you’re looking for FH4, just a heads up—while the unofficial ways exist, it might not be the best route to take, legality-wise. But hey, it is out there if you know where to look, just don’t mention it too loud around here!
That’s right, but remember, there are no Steam keys for FH4 now—only Xbox or Microsoft Store codes, which can’t be run on Linux. Just Windows.
