Hey everyone! I’m trying to recover my old No Man’s Sky save after selling my PS4. I’ve since connected my account to my girlfriend’s PS4 and installed the game, but it seems my save isn’t there. I used to have a PlayStation Plus subscription, so I think my save should be backed up. I’m willing to pay for a month just to download it, but I need to know if my save is still accessible. As a past subscriber, is there any way for me to check if it’s still there before I resubscribe?

Unfortunately, you can’t directly check if your saves are still backed up since the cloud saves are only accessible while your subscription is active. When did your subscription end? Generally, they keep saves for 6 months, but many users have reported that their saves remain available for longer than that; I was unsubscribed for a couple of years and still found all my stuff intact.
Saves are typically kept for up to 6 months after your subscription expires. I doubt your save would still be there, though; however, I was able to recover games that were saved for 2 years after I resubscribed last year. Just a heads up!
You might want to look for a cheap trial online, though that could be tricky if you’re a returning customer. Honestly, I’ve heard people say saves delete after 6 months, but that’s not officially confirmed. Lots of players still have their older saves even after years without PS+.
