Is there a way to access the tournament after killing Menhard von Frankfurt?

-

Hey everyone! So I made a pretty big mistake early in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. I ended up killing Menhard von Frankfurt while he was sleeping in the inn because I thought I’d raid a bit. Now, I realize that he was supposed to unlock the tournament, and after playing for about 45-50 hours, I’m starting to wonder… is there any way for me to still access the tournament?

It’s a rough situation! But hey, that’s the beauty of open-world games like this—your actions lead to real consequences. Next time, maybe think twice before going full murder mode, especially on key characters!

If all else fails, maybe try some necromancy? Just kidding—seriously though, give it a shot with an old save if you can!

Honestly, you might be out of luck unless you haven’t saved over all your old files. Consider loading a save from before your ‘adventure’ in the inn. Just a thought!

Unfortunately, it looks like you really messed up there! Killing major NPCs like Menhard can lead to some major roadblocks in quests, including the tournament. You might want to check with Nickolas at the swordsman guild; he may still have information on the tournament, but I can’t promise anything since you took a big swing there!

Yeah, you might have to consider reloading an earlier save if you have one. Otherwise, embrace the chaos of a murderhobo! Just remember, every action has consequences in this game.
