I’m diving into Resident Evil 7 because someone gifted me RE8, but I’m getting scared out of my mind! Every door I open feels like it’s going to jump out at me. I just took down Jack for the second time with a chainsaw, so how much further do I have to go? Is there any baby mode or easier setting I can use?

If you want to make things a bit easier, you can turn the brightness all the way up! It helps reduce the jump scares a bit when you can see more clearly. Just a thought!
Yeah, you’re at a good point but if you thought the fight with Mommy Baker isn’t a boss fight, you might have a few surprises ahead! Just remember, it’s all about pacing yourself and enjoying the crazy ride!
Subscribing to the fear factor is a choice—7 is definitely the creepiest of the series! If you find it too much, just adjust those brightness settings, and you’ll feel a bit more in control!
You’re actually pretty far along! After Jack, you move through a few more areas like the Old House and the Testing Area. Just keep pushing through! If you get stuck, there are walkthroughs available that map out the jump scares too.
There isn’t a direct baby mode in RE7 like there is in RE8, but you can find an Assist Mode in the options menu. Do note, you might need to start a new game for it. It’s definitely not as scary as what you’re experiencing now, so give it a shot!
Honestly, this game is renowned for being terrifying, especially with the creepy vibes and stalker enemies. If you’re looking for less scary experiences, you might want to explore some mods. There are a few that might turn the enemies into cute animals or something silly, if that’s your style!
Thanks for the tip! I’ll check that out.
