I’m new to Xbox gaming and considering the Series S since I can’t afford the Series X right now. I hear great things about Xbox exclusives, but I want to know if the Series S is worth it or if I should wait for the Series X instead. I’ve been playing on PlayStation all my life, so this is quite a change for me. Also, I’m looking for games that would be good on a budget console.

If you’re more about casual gaming and don’t mind lower quality graphics, the Series S will do just fine. It plays most new games, and if you don’t need a disc drive, it’s a fantastic deal. Just be aware that some multiplayer or demanding games might be tougher to run on it smoothly.
The Series S is a solid choice, especially if you’re on a budget. It’s a good entry point if you’re looking to play Xbox games, and with Game Pass, you’ll get access to a huge library. But expect to play most games at lower resolutions and frame rates compared to the X. Just keep in mind it has limited storage, so you might need to budget for an expansion card later on.
Totally agree! I got the S for my kids, and it’s been great for casual gaming. Game Pass makes it super worth it.
I think you should save up for the Series X. The performance difference is significant, especially for demanding titles. The S can be limiting in terms of graphics and framerates, which can impact your gaming experience, especially if you’re not used to that.
Yeah, I had both for a while, and I really noticed games running choppy on the S. It’s worth waiting for the X for the best experience.
Exactly! If you just want something to play with and don’t need cutting-edge graphics, the S is perfect.
